Hi, my name is Ryan and I am a 26 yr old Radio Producer Living in DC. I have been playing music ever since I saw School of Rock in 3rd grade! I started off with Guitar but also play Banjo, Mandolin, Harmonica, and Tin Whistle. I grew up on Classic Rock but my influences these days are pretty broad! I play lots of folk music, but was pretty into the Boston Punk Scene when I lived there for a number of years. My Spotify is full of everything from Grunge, Punk, New Wave, Traditional Folk, all the way to Reggaeton and Hip-Hop. I learned a lot of my music by ear and feel I can provide a unique way of looking at an instrument. I am happy to provide you with lots of structure and feel it’s important to get down all the basics. However, I’d like to also show ways in which you can find your own style that will stand out! I can show you whatever technique you’d like, whether it be Folk, Rock, or Heavy Metal. I primarily teach Acoustic Guitar, but I can also teach Banjo. Thanks for taking a look at my profile. Hope to meet you soon!

Queen's Journal
The Four Roads and Sasquatch & the Jackalope are two separate bands who met at the festival in 2012. Jonas Lewis-Anthony, Alex Ryan and newest member Ryan Monahan of The Four Roads, along with Ryan and Robert Burdick of Sasquatch & the Jackalope have come together from all over the world to play at the festival ever since they first met. Their folk-rock sound offered something unique to a festival that consisted largely of circus acts. Queen's Journal wrote on Mon, 30 Nov -0001
