Hi, my name is Andrew and I am a drummer from Houston. I have been a student of music for 28 years. My musical influences include anything from metal to jazz and I also enjoy anything that mixes the musical styles. My teaching style can best be described as fun and energetic. My teaching philosophy can best be described by saying that I teach ways to be excited about music. In my lessons, you can expect to learn in a way that best fits the student. I like to tell my students that if they break a stick, head or cymbal, I'll give them an award. My favorite thing about teaching is watching confidence in music spread into other parts of life.. My favorite performance was the series of tours I was able to go on. My students love that I can play double bass. I primarily teach rock and metal, but I can also teach anything dealing with the drums. My approach as a teacher is to drive creativity in the student. Thanks for taking a look at my profile.
