Hello! My name is Olivia and I am a student at Kutztown University studying Commercial Music with a concentration in classical piano. While I am passionate about classical music, I am also a lover of jazz, rock, and many other genres! I have taught all ages at a beginner/intermediate level, and can assist in anything from reading music to stylistic interpretation. In addition to teaching regular lessons, I have also taught audition, performance, and competition prep. I have a very flexible teaching method and believe that every student learns and understands differently. These past years I have loved every second of teaching and working with beginner musicians. What to expect in my Keyboard and Piano Lessons
Beginner - Intermediate
Students can expect a relaxed, stress-free environment where they can learn at their own pace and work on music they are interested in. I will encourage them to step out of their comfort zones and work on pieces that may be technically advanced or even perform once in a while! I am comfortable working with students with a broad range of abilities from learning how to read music to interpretation and dynamics.
