Hello! My name is Steven. I have been studying music for 14 years and performing and teaching at a professional level for 8. I hold a Master's Degree in Jazz Studies Music Performance, but have had experience playing all styles of music. I perform regularly at venues and events in the Philadelphia area, Music Festivals across the country, and also have extensive teaching experience including: teaching private lessons to people of all ages, running an after school drum class program for elementary students, as well as experience teaching at the collegiate level. I am a multi-instrumentalist with a focus in Percussion, but I also play piano and have a deep knowledge of Music Theory and Composition.

What to expect in my Keyboard and Piano Lessons
Beginner -
A method that is deeply rooted in Music Theory, yet also meets the students desires. Things like technique will be worked on, but I will try to relate as much to actual MUSIC as possible. Lessons may involve books, but could also be as simple as learning songs you love to listen to!
What to expect in my Drum Lessons
Beginner - Intermediate - Advanced
A deep and thorough, yet fun and accessible method to helping improve their skills in percussion. I will work out of some books as well as tailor exercises to each individual student. All of my students have a healthy balance of things to build up their technique and tasks to push their creativity; all while learning how to have FUN!
