Thania has always loved music from an early age. She began playing guitar and cuatroVenezuelan Ukelele at the age of 12 and continued her education after high-school going to Boston and graduated from Berklee College of Music in Voice and Composition, guitar player. Her musical influences include Latin, Bossanova Folk and Jazz. Thania’s favorite thing about music is to write songs and record them and performing on stage. Her favorite thing about teaching music is to figure out how you learn best and tailor the class specifically for you. When taking lessons with Thania you can expect to be playing chords and rhythms from the early start, engaging the process of learning with each each exercise to get to your favorite song or advance your playing. To guide you what songs work for your voice and how to learn the full aspect of it, while having some exercises to make this happened and warm your voice to make that note sound easy in your own voice. Do you know what is your range? We'll start with all of the information and vocabulary to know everything about your voice and how to make it sound the best it can be for your style and delivery. Guitar Lesson Whether you are just starting out for the first time or honing old skills I can take it from there to make the class educational and fan to play so you learn thoroughly without getting intense. For me as a teacher important to provide a positive balance between lesson structure and flexibility in the type of music you desire to pla I will the time to understand your musical needs and guide you to make it happened with your guitar. You can bring your own song and we can find the way to play it. Although I have been a professional musician for more that 20 years and have performed around the world, I've always remember how I started it and how fun and good its been for me. That is why I like to teach beginners or any level because I can see them play and enjoying music, one of the best present you can give to anyone. Songwriting How to write a story in less than 3 minutes its the trick behind songwriting, that makes sense, that expressed the feelings and make a point with a great chorus, just the idea makes me exiting to explained to you with my own improvised example...yes I love to improvise and get the flows of creating in the spot. Songwriting as techniques and exercised to put those juices on the work. To teach this subject you need to have lots of songs under your belt in a variety of styles and artist, that is something I an ver proud I've learned from my early days in college while learning music in Boston, and listening to other songwriters approach. Trough out the years I have learn that no matter how small your idea is, finding the chords for it and rhythm you can make a song stick in your head for ever and created your way. I will guide you without changing your style how to write your song with techniques that will help when you get stuck with lyrics, rhymes, or closing the at statement you want to make.
