Hi, my name is Liam, and I have been playing guitar for 13 years. I started taking blues guitar lessons in high school before starting a rock / metal band with a few talented friends, and eventually began playing shows at local bars and events. After being introduced to the classical style by my instructor, I also began playing guitar and piano for weddings until I started college. I decided to mix things up a bit and started my college degree as a jazz guitarist at Rhodes College, however when I transferred to UNT 2 years later I decided to return to classical guitar, specifically flamenco, as my primary style. I've since completed my classical training at UNT and am excited to pass on all I've learned through my various styles and experiences to help start new musicians' journeys. While I've played for a lot of interesting events, my favorite experience was still getting to play the music at my mother's wedding 4 years ago. To me, music is all about the ability to connect with and move people whether emotionally, or just move them to dance and that's what I always strive to share.
