Hello! My name is Jacob and I would love the opportunity to be your music teacher! I have played guitar for sixteen years, and drums and bass for eight. I can teach various styles of music including rock, blues, pop, acoustic pop, jazz, metal, funk, and soul. My teaching style is entirely focused on the student's areas of interest. I get to know my students and their musical inclinations on a personal level and use lessons in those areas to teach them the core tenants of music theory. The ultimate goal of my lessons is to use music that my students love to give them a foundational understanding of the big picture of musical theory. I have over 13 years of music experience in the San Diego area, and I am fully equipped to give Guitar Lessons, Ukulele Lessons, Bass Guitar Lessons, Banjo Lessons, Voice Lessons, Songwriting Lessons, and Drum Lessons .
