I have been playing guitar and singing for 22 years, performing in various genres both solo and groups. My training is in classical and jazz voice (which I studied at UNT), and I have adapted and used that training as a rock performer. I have taught beginners, and served as vocal coach for regularly performing veterans. Many people feel that without "natural talent," they cannot ever have a singing voice to be proud of. However, in all my time performing and teaching, I have seen the evidence over and over again that singing is a learned art. Someone lacking in natural talent can nonetheless make great strides with work and focus. I myself am proof of that. I am self-taught in guitar, with a strong background in music theory. I generally teach beginner to intermediate guitar, or guitar as a second (or third, or fourth) instrument, as theory and my own experience with other instruments can make the transition a smoother one.

I was worried about my girl as she has adhd and not on meds. But Chad did amazing at keeping her on track and was so patient with her when she did get a little off. She was nervous to sing in front of someone new but when he left she was excited that he had pushed her out of her comfort zone and showed her she can do so much more with her voice than she thought possible. Teacher is very understanding
The lessons I have received so far have been some of the best. The teacher is able to take me wherever I want to go. At the same time, if ever I don't understand something, he is able to explain it in different ways until I understand. After just two weeks, my knowledge of the fretboard has improved dramatically. OUTSTANDING Mr. Chad
Chad has been teaching our son guitar since he was 7 and he is now 13. He helped him with vocals as well. Our son was in the talent show 3 years in elementary school playing and singing the guitar and won 1st place every time. He has been teaching our daughter piano since age 6 and she is now 12 and he has taught her far more about the piano than I ever imagined. She was in one of the talent shows with her brother and together they won 1st place. He has patience that is unbelievable and always presents a new challenge to the kids. They love it when they accomplish the task because he makes them feel good about themselves. We just love Mr. and will continue to have him as long as we can. There is no other instructor like him.
