Kat has played the piano for over 30 years. Her first 11 were under the mentorship of one of the top piano teachers in the Philippines who guided her path to winning competitions, to performing on her own 2 hour piano concert with her colleague and a nomination for Dean’s Award for Music in Piano at the prestigious Ateneo De Manila University. She is currently based in Los Angeles and has worked as a professional entertainer all over the world for almost 20 years. She loves all styles of music but her personal favorite is teaching students how to improvise and have more freedom to play the piano. My daughter started zoom piano lessons during the start covid. It was the perfect thing to get her active at home. After the first lesson she knew how to play a song! With both hands.
