Dan E-amazing guitar teacher
I'm extremely impressed with Dan. I've been playing guitar for 20+ years and wanted to learn some music theory, picking up songs by ear, clean up my technique and sing while playing. Dan is a great teacher for all those goals. The very first lesson, he asked me what music I was interested in. I mentioned Chet Atkins and some Bossa Nova songs. My eyes popped when he just casually played a Chet Atkins piece and Girl from Ipanema, exactly what I want to learn, then we looked at the arrangements. He also taught me some basic music theory, and gave me assignments to practice at home. Over next few lessons Dan challenged me to pick up by ear a few songs-melody, chords and bass line. I've learned so much from these lessons already. I would rate Dan A+ on all the qualities I seek in a teacher: communication, theory & practical guitar playing, timeliness the guy is extremely punctual, and a general good viberating overall. - - wrote on Fri, 22 Sep 2023
