Hi. I’m Marcus. I graduated from Full Sail university with a Bachelor’s of science. However, I started out in music on the saxophone in 5th grade. I started playing bass two years later and fell in love. I started playing drums at the same time as bass. This showed me the importance of the drums and the bass marrying each other. This is especially important to create what is called “groove”. While in the military, music never stopped calling me. The only musical thing I had with me was an iPod at the time. I leaned the basics or audio recording on it. I soon purchased an iPad in 2012, one year later, for music production. As technology changes, so does music tech. I love learning new technology to help record and tells musical story. I now operate four DAWs digital audio workstation on two different systems. Pro tools and logic in the Mac environment and Beatmaker3 and GarageBand in the iOS environment.

As a drummer/percussionists and bassist, you will learn the importance or pocket, listening and groove. The kick drum and bass marriage is the most valuable thing a drummer can have second to an inner metronome.
What to expect in my Record Engineer Produce
Beginner - Intermediate - Advanced
Students will learn what is called gain staging along with signal routing, signal processing, phase, tone, mixing and post-production techniques. The information shared will help you make better informed decisions in a live situation or in the studio.
