Austin has always loved music from an early age. He began playing guitar and bass at the age of 10 and continued his education by learning in person and through schooling. His musical influences include The Beatles, Jimi Hendrix, and B.B. King. Austin's favorite thing about music is the connection and discussion it can start, and his favorite thing about teaching music is watching people understand and grow. One of his favorite teaching experiences was helping a student learn jingle bells the week before a Christmas talent show.
