Hi, my name's Justin! I started playing the guitar when I was 15. I went to college for music and I'm currently pursuing my master’s degree in jazz performance. Not only that, but I gig and perform professionally regularly. I enjoy playing all genres of music and also play at church every Sunday. Music has always had a deep meaning in my life and I'm always eager to teach what I've learned over all these years.

At this level, I like to introduce my students into more advanced techniques. Things like the modes of the major scale, more sophisticated rhythms, syncopation, 7th arpeggios, 7th chords, pentatonic scales, blues scales and anything else the student might be interested. I always like to make sure we work on the things they want to improve on and learn.
What to expect in my Guitar Lessons
Beginner -
I like to tailor my lessons specifically for each student. But there are some fundamentals I like to teach all beginners. Things like the major scale, it’s subsequent harmonies (chords), triads, basic chord progressions, the beginnings of improvisation, etc.
