Retired Navy Band Musician. I've performed all over the world from the Tokyo Symphony Orchestra to Brass Bands in New Orleans. I truly enjoy seeing a student progress through the art of music knowing they will have a craft they themselves will enjoy for a lifetime. People of all walks of life and all ages can start drumming. It's a form of expression that can be found all over the world. Learning to play drums gives you an appreciation of the arts.

What to expect in my Drum Lessons
Beginner - Intermediate - Advanced
I have a patient and laidback approach to lessons but I will make it clear to the student that they will improve as long as they complete assignments and keep a regular practice routine. The lessons are there to guide the student through the process but lessons alone won't make you a better musician. It's up to the student to be dedicated. In general, we will start on basic stick control, learn to read music and understand some music theory and then move at the student's pace. Music is a journey and not a race.
