Eric began playing drums at the age of 5, piano at 10, bass guitar at 16, and began music production at 17. Over the years, he developed his skills further by playing in church. He gained performance experience in the Chicago area by playing at such venues as the Progressive National Baptist Convention and Disney World in Florida and with acts such as Leon Timbo, Sharay Reed, Bernice King. Though Eric can teach many different genres of music, his musical personal favorites are Gospel, pop, and R&B which had a great influence on his style of playing. Eric loves music because of its universal impact and loves teaching music because nothing is more rewarding than the look of accomplishment on his student's faces.
