Phil has always loved music from an early age. He has been playing guitar for 20 years. He continued his education throughout high school eventually receiving his Commercial Music Diploma in Performance and Education from Colorado Contemporary Music College. He has a wide range of musical influences from jazz to rock to blues. Phil's favorite thing about music is sharing the joy and excitement each song can bring! His favorite thing about teaching music is building relationships with his students and striving to accomplish their goals. One of his favorite teaching experiences was watching his student take what he had learned and applied toward composing their own music.
