Hi, my name is Christopher and I am a drummer from Washington, DC. I have been a student of music for 24 years. My musical influences include Michael Jackson who is my artist of all time, Chris Brown, Aaron Spears professional drummer, my Godbrother Danny Henderson “Animal” & many more. I also enjoy going to live shows & meeting new musicians & artists. My teaching style can best be described as patient & chill. My teaching philosophy can best be described by saying that I love what I do playing drums & it’s my passion. In my lessons, you can expect to learn the basics & more. I like to tell my students that drummers are considered the heartbeat of the music world. So when playing the drums you gotta play from the heart. My favorite thing about teaching is that we both can learn & improve our drumming together. My favorite performance so far was my last show before the world got shut down because of covid but then again I have a lot of favorite performances for different reasons & I be performing with my family.
