Hello :D My name is Tishian. I started playing guitar around the age of 10 and have continued to do so for 14 years. Ever since I was a tiny kid, I was so enamored by rock n' roll and the electric guitar. I thought it was the coolest thing in the entire world--and still do!! I mostly play and teach electric guitar music in the style of rock n' roll, blues, or heavy metal. I've always believed in sharing the joy of music with anyone I can. I volunteer with an organization called MusicLink that helps provide music lessons and instruments to children who may have trouble affording it. I've been teaching guitar on and off for about 4 years, and I have experience teaching people of all ages and experience levels. I would love to guide anyone and everyone on their own personal journey with the guitar and nothing makes me happier than encouraging a love for music!

Beginner - Intermediate
I like to ask my students what their favorite things are to listen to or play on guitar, what music they like and what their goals are with the guitar. Then coming up with an individual lesson plan that can help them achieve those goals. I like to mix teaching songs with teaching fundamental techniques and music theory. I also love to emphasize learning how to improvise and create music.
