I have had a love of music for as long as I can remember one of my earliest memories is of my father and I laying on the Oriental rug in the living room listening to Kindermusic. I began taking violin lessons when I was only three years old, but I then began taking piano lessons when I was six years old because I had decided that I wasn’t enjoying playing the violin. I began accompanying local children’s choirs, both at my school and at my parish when I was in middle school, and I continued to accompany through high school and college, which culminated in my last semester of college in serving as the rehearsal accompanist for the main men’s choir at Villanova. My first major performance after graduation was at an awards dinner that was honoring the retirement of then-Archbishop Chaput. I currently am the pianist for the Church of Christ, Scientist, Drexel Hill Chapter, and I have also recently begun to play for a few gigs.

What to expect in my Keyboard and Piano Lessons
Beginner -
I strongly believe that learning how to play any musical instrument should be FUN! That’s why my piano lessons will be a combination of learning how to play pieces of classical music and learning how to play whatever music-genre/style, a specific song, or a specific artist-you enjoy listening to. I have close to twenty years of experience playing the piano; I have played in everywhere ranging from the youth band at my parish to one of the recital stages of Carnegie Hall. (Although I do not have a Bachelor’s degree in any field related to music, I do have some previous experience teaching piano lessons, most notably at a community arts center in Norristown the semester before the COVID-19 pandemic hit. It was so thrilling to see the smiles on the students’ faces when they were able to play a song they loved!)
