Katherine has always loved music from an early age. She began singing at the age of four in church choirs and musicals and has performed professionally in opera, choir, and musical theater production in the United States and abroad. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Vocal Performance from Texas Tech University and a Master's degree in Vocal Performance from the University of Central Oklahoma. Katherine's favorite thing about music is its ability to connect with others, and her favorite thing about teaching music is helping students to grow confident in themselves and in their abilities as music makers and storytellers.
