I am a lifelong learner and the continual study of music keeps me young and sharp. Music is a language and everybody who hears it understands it. But to speak it is an art and a privilege. I speak and play Bass Guitar and love to share what I know about my favorite instrument. I teach Bass Guitar technique, music theory, I love learning new songs and look forward to doing that with new students. I'll bring the knowledge and experience and you bring the passion and style. I currently teach, share music with friends, and publish books about life and music. My books contain links to vignettes and studio recordings about the music writing process.

What to expect in my Bass Guitar Lessons
Beginner - Intermediate
Expect fun. In our own way, Bass players have a ton of fun. Every type of music that people like to play benefits from a working knowledge of music theory. We will learn everything you want or need patiently at your pace. Every step of the way has much to be enjoyed. We'll learn songs, technique, and all about equipment too. You'll begin immediately learning the language of music.
Formal Education:
Degree in Instrumentation from School of Contemporary Music, Boston MA.
Performing Experience:
I've played in Dozens of bands in Rock, Blues, Jazz, Pop and World Music. Many studio recordings as a sideman and solo
Experience Teaching:
I have taught bass accumulatively for 5 years
