Ruth began her musical journey by singing in the church choir beginning when she was only 7 years old. From piano lessons beginning at age 8 to a degree in music education with a vocal emphasis, then on to becoming a charter member of the Colorado Symphony Chorus, music just keeps getting better. Ruth has been a church choir director, school music teacher, singer and conductor, and she is also a composer. Who knows? Maybe you'll end up playing or singing some of her music some day!

What to expect in my Keyboard and Piano Lessons
Beginner - Intermediate
Students can expect a solid grounding in music theory, as well as note reading fluency and correct technique. And lots of fun.
What to expect in my Vocal Lessons
Beginner - Intermediate - Advanced
Students can expect to learn how to use their voices safely and without damaging them. Students can also expect a good grounding in note reading, music theory and vocal technique. And lots of fun. Please note-I do not accept voice students under the age of 14.
