Chris began playing piano at the age of six. Over the years, he developed his skills further by learning other instruments and pursuing 2 degrees in music, including a Master's of Music degree. He gained performance experience by playing keyboards at places like Busch Gardens, New Orleans, Nashville, and mega-churches throughout the United States. Chris can teach many genres of music, but his personal favorites are pop, rock, classical, jazz, and gospel which had great influence on his style of playing. Chris loves teaching music because his students come alive to the world of music and learn how to express themselves in meaningful ways. Chris grew up in a musical family and gained regular performance experience through a variety of opportunities. Chris played extensively in college and graduate school with several musical groups. Later, Chris played keyboards for Busch Gardens, in and around New Orleans, a special event at the state fair in Nashville, and he as worked for many years leading bands in churches across the United States. Currently, he plays keyboards at a mega-church in Orlando and he gives assistance in leading the band.
