Hi, my name is Eric, I am a producer from Chicago. I have been a student of music for 30 years. My musical influences include gospel, R&B and I also enjoy POP. My teaching style can best be described as hands on. My teaching philosophy can best be described by saying "play what you feel and hear". In my lessons, you can expect to learn placement, instrument roles, and soloing. I like to tell my students "The best ideas were found by mistake, don't be afraid to mess up". My favorite thing about teaching is watching my student's confidence grow. My favorite performance was playing for the Progressive National Baptist Convention. My students love that I am very encouraging and patient. I primarily teach piano, but I can also teach organ, bass and drums.
