Hi, I'm Chris, and I've been a professional musician and educator for 7 years! I have toured internationally with various artist, and teach & play around the NE Florida area when I'm not on the road. I studied music and got my degree from the University of North Florida. My primary instruments are guitar and bass, but I have experience with piano/keys, mandolin, banjo, as well as music arrangement, recording & mixing, as well as songwriting. I am in multiple original projects that I write for, that span from rock, to funk, reggae, and Western swing/country! I'd love to help you on your musical journey to reach any goals you want to meet!

What to expect in my Record Engineer Produce
Being able to record your own music is the secret weapon of musicians in the modern era. Whether it's for demos of your music, final studio tracks, or recording others, being able to confidently set up a session, engineer it, and get a basic mix down will completely round you out as a musician. We will cover the basics of what a DAW is, how to navigate it, and how to utilize the tools so that you'll be recording in no time!
What to expect in my Song Writing Lessons
Every song is a uniquely crafted piece of art, however, with various genres there are hallmarks that are written, and prove to be effective. We will strive to write authentically in whatever style you excel in, while trying to innovate and create a sound that is your own. We can look at techniques like layering, song structure, harmony, dynamics and so much more to make your piece pop! Let's realize your artistic vision!
What to expect in my Keyboard and Piano Lessons
With piano, we will focus on setting a baseline for good technique (ie. finger position, theory, etc.), and from there dive into the specifics of what you want out of keyboards. Keys provide so much texture and sonic depth in modern music, so we can look at improvising, chord voicing, song structure, how to build motifs, as well as selecting the right sound for each song!
What to expect in my Guitar Lessons
While studying guitar, we'll cover all the basics of music theory that you need, and from there, tailor each lesson to what you need. We can cover improvising, learning new chords, learning songs and transcribing, how to improve your rhythmic timing, and much more! Feel free to ask about any specific goals you want to accomplish and let's meet them!
What to expect in my Bass Guitar Lessons
Bass is the foundation of any musical project; it is the bridge between rhythm and harmony. We will cover the foundations of a good bass line, the music theory of how to groove on bass, as well as timing, locking in a drummer, and much more. We can even cover how to solo and write for bass! Let me know what areas you want to see growth and we'll make it happen!
