Keith has always loved music from an early age. He began playing bass guitar at the age of 13 and piano at the age of 17. Keith continued his education by taking piano lessons and various music classes at Penn Valley Community College /Longview Community College/Avila University and UMKC. His musical influences include Larry Graham, Prince, Stanley Clarke, Louis Johnson, Twinkie Clark. Keith 's favorite thing about music is recognizing how powerful it is to be able to play and effect people’s lives positively. Keith’s favorite thing about teaching music is seeing that mental light come on in the students minds and hearing it come from what they play. One of his favorite teaching experiences was teaching a student who went on to play for Justin Bieber.
