Philip began playing at the age of 11. Over the years, he developed his skills further by receiving his bachelor’s degree in music education. Gained performance experience in this area by playing in various symphonies operas and several broadway shows. and with acts such as Phantom of the opera, Oliver,Annie, and toured with Sinatra, Sammy Davis, and Rae Charles. Though Philip can teach many different genres of music, his musical personal favorites are of the Classical genre, which had great influence on his style of playing.
