Hi, my name is Griffin, and I am a drummer from Madison Wi. I've always been very passionate about music, of any genre. I enjoy listening and pointing out little interesting things in songs with my friends. I am musically influenced by psychedelic music, progressive music, and weird music, like Black Midi. My band is hugely influenced by them, but we give it a pop twist. Though I don't have experience in teaching yet, I feel confident I would be great at it. My students would learn to play from their heart, and to immerse themselves in the music. I would teach them to hit hard like a gospel drummer, and to feel the bounce of the drums. I would also teach technical rudiments that I would develop with them over time. Additionally I would stand up and coach them while they played to make them learn to feel the beat and play with good volume. My band has played venues such as the BMO Harris stage at summerfest, the Generac Stage at summer fest, The Bur Oak, and the Rigby. We were also Rockonsin winners in 2021!
