Hi, my name is Trevor. I started playing saxophone back in 2000. I picked up guitar and bass in the summer of 2006. Having been teaching music since May 2021, I have spent the majority of my career teaching at Guitar Center in Mobile, Alabama. There, I taught guitar, bass, and ukulele. For 2, I was teaching between 50-60 one-on-one students per week, ranging from ages 5-85, and at all different proficiency levels. Though I primarily play rock and country, I do enjoy teaching rock, country, funk, gospel, and Christian Contemporary music to students. If students want to learn it, I'm there for it! My teaching mantra is "the goal is progress, whether big or small." My favorite experience from teaching is seeing my students perform in a live setting/recital. At the Christmas 2022 recital, 26 of my students performed! Students have complimented me on being patient and dedicated to helping them become more comfortable playing their instrument. Whether you are a pure beginner or an experienced shredder, I'll be there to teach you every step of the way! Welcome to the school of rock; class is in session!
