Emily has always loved music from an early age. She began playing oboe at the age of 8 and continued her education by getting a Master's in music. Her musical influences include classical, classic rock, and modern pop. Emily's favorite thing about music is performing and her favorite thing about teaching music is watching students grow. One of her favorite teaching experiences was arranging a modern rap song for four trumpets and seeing the students faces light up with interest.
