Hi, my name is Jameson and I am a multi-instrumentalist from Denton, TX. I have been a student of music for over 12 years. My musical influences include classical piano Chopin, Mozart song leading/accompaniment, Guitar blues, rock and roll, song leading and accompaniment, Drums rock and roll, funk, latin, jazz, reggae and I also enjoy recording and making music! My teaching style can best be described as call and response, I am happy to share my knowledge to help you along your musical journey to be the best player/performer you can be. My teaching philosophy can best be described by saying that I strive for excellence in preparation and practice.. In my lessons, you can expect to learn anatomy of the instrument, technique, rhythm, timbre, musical phrasing, and how to listen like a musician! I like to tell my students that practice makes your performance. Come prepared and you will learn much quicker and engrain proper technique for instrument mastery. My favorite thing about teaching is seeing improvement in my students as the grow in their musical journey. My favorite performance was Blue Man Group live in Orlando. My students love that I constantly strive for greatness and push them towards becoming a better and better performer and teacher. I primarily teach percussion and drumset, but I can also teach guitar and piano. My approach as a teacher is to be there as a support and encouragement to watch you grow!
