Hi, my name is Daniel, andI am a Guitar Instructor from Henderson. I have been a student of music for 10 years. My musical influences include jazz and I also enjoy classical. My teaching style can best be described as foundational with structured introductions to varying guitar techniques. In order to promote at home practice I emphasize ssight-readingalong with tab transpositions that appropriately diagram specific rhythmic, harmonic and melodic changes. My teaching philosophy can best be described by saying that I encourage learning through progressive levels of difficult musical pieces. In my lessons, you can expect to learn combined applications of theory, technique and 1-on-1 walkthroughs for all presented song challenges. I like to tell my students trust in your training and land on beat. My favorite thing about teaching helping to eevolveone’s learning style when it comes to playing guitar. My favorite performance was at 15 during a Jazz Band recital. I had only taken one year of beginner guitar before. Being thrown into another world of theory, I found myself pursuing my training for it even till now, I am 25. My students love that prioritize effective communication. I primarily teach guitar/bass ,but I can also teach ukulele. My approach as a teacher is to meet the goals of the student and if applicable, the parent. Thanks for taking a look at my profile.
