Pop, Rock, Soul, Folk, Jazz and other style vocal instruction can be taught and explained and demonstrated. Understanding vocal ranges and finding correct keys for vocal songs and be explored. Phrasing and stylistic expression will be explored.

Keyboard styles such as solo piano, or accompanying an instrumentalist or vocalist can be demonstrated and explained. Advanced concepts like arrangements will be addressed. Playing in groups and comping styles will be explored and explained and demonstrated. Solo improvisation will be addressed.

Bass guitar four or five string will be demonstrated and explained. Multiple areas of music can be explored for example, How to play with a swing style walking bass, or how to find the groove with a drummer or guitar player or piano player. Jazz, Rock, Folk, Funk, Bluegrass, Pop and other styles of bass playing can be demonstrated and explained.

Students can expect to read and understand Chord Charts, and Lead Sheets. Rhythm Guitar will be explained and demonstrated and if desired solo concepts and techniques will also be explored. Concepts like groove, strumming patterns, and multiple modes of musical expression will be explored, explained and demonstrated. Solo Improvisation using blues and bebop jazz styles can be taught demonstrated and explained.
