Hi there! I have been playing guitar since I was 10 years old and have over 9 years of experience in performing live music, and have been teaching guitar for the past 3 years. I am a highly self-motivated and passionate individual who is dedicated to helping students learn the guitar in an engaging and efficient manner. I have taken private lessons, studied jazz at Pikes Peak Community College, and continue to learn and study on my own. I believe that it is important for students to learn to play music right away in order to stay motivated and engaged. I strive to integrate theoretical knowledge into what students already know how to play, helping them to develop their skills and understanding of music. I have a passion for teaching and self-learning, which has enabled me to develop proficiency on the guitar and bass guitar. I enjoy developing strong relationships with my students, helping them to achieve their goals in a friendly and encouraging manner while having a blast.
