My name is Matthew and I’ve been playing musical instruments for 16 years and teaching for 11 years. I initially learned drums, and mastered many styles of play including odd time signatures. From my love of drums I learned guitar and bass, and learned theory with this instruments. I’m a current musician in current bands playing throughout the city and I have a warm and bright energy.

Beginner -
For beginners the focus will be identifying time with ear training, counting rhythms, stick holding techniques and rudiments.
What to expect in my Guitar Lessons
Beginner - Advanced - Intermediate
Students should expect to learn open chords and basic scale shapes. Curriculum is based on how proficient the student is with playing the guitar. Students experience with be individual depending on the students level. Advances lessons with include different styles of playing, playing in odd times, complex rudimental exercises and more.
What to expect in my Bass Guitar Lessons
Beginner -
Students will be instructed everything from holding the instrument to making sounds, playing along with other instruments and up to music class theory and chord building.
