Formal Education:
I have given lessons to people over the years. My main experience came from playing in bands and eventually touring on the road. In 2013 I officially retired from touring and will only occasionally do a bigger gig. My sights are set on music and how we tell stories and what those stories say is telling of the culture that makes it. My degree is in Anthropology, and it is the study of what makes us human. Music is one of those things which we create but also use to communicate ideas!
Private Education:
2 years of private lessons, during middle school. One semester of private percussion at KCKCC.
Performing Experience:
15 years of performance experience, set up and recording.
Experience Teaching:
I have had experience teaching one on one with students at their homes or preferably my rehearsal space.
