Hello. I’ve been involved in music since a very young age. I started out beating on my mother's pots and pans which drove her crazy; lol so she suggested that they should try buying me a drum set. I was 5 years old when I got my first drum set. With no formal training I quickly destroyed it. Punching holes in the heads with pencils and pens. I remember it vividly. Fast forward to meeting my next door neighbor one summer evening in Las Vegas Nevada when I was about 10. He invited me to practice with the city drill team. He let me bang on a snare drum while the team practiced. I was completely mesmerized! Hooked! I'm now 52 years old and have two sons, one who is a local music producer and hip hop dancer and another who loves music as well but is learning voice-overs. I have a Granddaughter who is special needs but she's connected to music and appreciates it as well. Let me invite you into my world of music so you can consider taking lessons from me, Shawn T..
