Music has always been my favorite thing in life, first as a hobby and later became my professional life as well. I try as much as possible to develop intuition and hearing together with theory and all analytical work that comes with it. Started in classical and later on studied folk, jazz, Latin jazz and world music. Singer, I play the 6 and 7 string guitar, acoustic and electric, besides bass guitar. Always pay attention to each students and specific needs and goals to make the lesson as best as possible to each individual. Guitar lessons: The guitar is an instrument with incredible potential in its variety of possible approaches regarding accompaniment and the countless harmonic rhythm applications in the elaboration of voicings and chord arrangements, in addition to, of course, the type of groove applied to this treatment in the work of the right hand. This unfolds in the understanding of the typical rhythmic and harmonic vocabulary of different musical genres and styles and their technical and aesthetic applications on the instrument. On the other hand, there is a beautiful canon of works written especially for the instrument, in which aspects related to articulation, attack, sonority, dynamics and interpretation shape the experience and display the instrument in its fullness of possibilities. This repertoire involves pieces composed from the Renaissance (adapted in the case of instruments of the time such as the harpsichord and the spinet) to the present day, involving not only repertoire originating from classical music but also arrangements designed for the instrument of modern works of popular music. found in jazz, rock, Latin rhythms, among many others. As professionally as an instrumentalist and performer I vary between the 2 universes (classical and popular), I like to mix the 2 aspects in teaching as I believe they complement each other very well and also open the student's mind from an aesthetic point of view. I focus, however, on the desires and preferences of each student, trying to give rhythm to the class through technique and application of concepts while seeking the inventive and more intuitive side, guided above all by the ear and individual sensitivity. Voice Lessons: In the case of classes involving the voice, I seek to treat and exercise aspects of the physiology of the voice as an instrument and exercise the search for and access to the tone and color of voice that the student seeks and wants to apply in a given repertoire. In parallel, I seek to work on aspects that make the singer also an actor and all the interpretative and stylistic load that is necessary for a good and unique performance. I also really like it and try to apply ideas with the voice that go beyond the idea of songwriting, thinking about the voice as an instrument and its different possibilities and techniques in what is traditionally called scat singing.
