Ryan has always loved music from an early age. He began playing percussion at the age of 12 and continued his education by studying percussion performance at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, and Music Education at the University of Colorado Boulder. Ryan's favorite thing about music is the breadth of styles and types of music there are and his favorite thing about teaching music is the infinite potential of every student. One of his favorite teaching experiences was at Gretna High School, when he conducted the percussion ensemble.
