Hi! My name is Luke and I've been practicing music for as long as I can remember. I've been born and raised here in San Antonio, Texas. My biggest influences would be iconic bands such as Scorpions and Metallica, however, I'm also known to listen anywhere from Dua Lipa all the way to Mozart and even Kool and the Gang. Pinning down one specific music genre would be impossible but you could say that my go to genre would be classic rock and 80's glam metal. I understand the sort-of stigma around those genres and type of fan base that those bands parade, but I assure you, due to my diverse knowledge and appreciation of all types of music, I am a very well-spoken upstanding man. I believe my desire to become a teacher came about in middle school around 7th grade when I was deemed first chair tenor saxophone. The responsibilities that came with this position were similar to that of a section leader or captain in that I taught my fellow peers. While I would teach I would find the class period went by almost too fast, teaching was, and still is, my one true enjoyment in life. That's not to say that I don't enjoy other things but teaching is the one thing I will NEVER get bored of. I absolutely love teaching not for my own personal satisfaction but for the chance to see others grow and eventually surpass me. I hope that I've made myself a desirable candidate to your ongoing need for position fulfillment.
