My name is Jan and I have been playing the clarinet since I was 10 years old. I have enjoyed playing in the Keene State Concert Band and Orchestra, The Atlantic Wind Symphony in South Lancaster, Massachusetts, the West Wynd Clarinet Ensemble also in Massachusetts and currently, The Piedmont Prime Time Community Band in Harrisburg, NC. I have enjoyed teaching children, teens and adults how to play the clarinet while teaching at The Royal Academy for Music in Shrewsbury, Massachusetts. I am a kind and patient teacher and will go at the students pace. There is no need to feel nervous if you have never played the clarinet. I make learning simple and fun.
