Hello! Do you enjoy the drum set? You better! It's obviously the best instrument in the world. Just take a minute to listen to my past drum experience and see what you think. I started my first band in 9th grade, Roses for Emily. A alternative rock band with A LOT of room to improve. We recorded 5 records, 2 of which never came out and one that costed us $1000! Lesson learned. My next group was an post-rock instrumental gig that I loved because I molded my drums after Explosions in the Sky (everyone must listen to this band if you haven't yet). Everyone said I was too energetic for the group so I decided that my heart wasn't in it (even though the group was called Grant Park. Irony!) My next adventure was in TreeHouse Talk, a 4 piece with a very gifted guitarist in the likes of Kings of Leon, My Morning Jacket or Radiohead. Loved playing with these guys but the singer got his girl knocked up and you know how this ends… My current band is BABY BABY. We've coined the genre as fun rock because this is the mentality that we keep in the band: keep things fun. We played SXSW this year, did a 3 month tour, released our first full length, and play shows all over Georgia every week. It's my dream come true. So, think you're up for it? I like it loud and I like fun. Has that sound to you?

Drum Resume
Started playing in 9th grade. Have been routinely playing since then which puts it at around 10 years. Played in 4 bands, the current of which I have been playing with for two years. We just released our first full length, completed a three week tour, and play shows every week. I've only taught lessons with one student before but she was very satisfied and could provide me a good reference. I've included some links that might help you get a better feel of what kind of drumming I do. Please let me know if you have any questions.
Thanks,
Grant
