I am an easy going, funny, and energetic high school graduate who loves playing the drums, spending time with my friends, working out, and creating music with my band in my freetime.

Experience: 8 years of playing, 2 years of teaching, have played in 3 different bands, and have played praise and worship at many different churches and conferences.

Genres known: Rock and Roll, Blues, Reggae, Heavy Metal, Jazz, Hip-Hop, Speed Metal, and Praise and Worship

Students Taught: Anyone from the ages of 10 and up and of any skill level whether beginner or advanced. I am very patient and friendly when working with students and will show them respect whether while teaching or not

Style of Teaching: Basic steps and lessons on playing the drums, learning the different pieces of a drum set and how they work/sound/operate, learning beats and tempos that will help teach and improve beginning to advanced drummers, watching videos and reading books that will teach new students about the art of drumming, how to keep tempo, and much more.

Method of Teaching: Starting with simple, easy tempo practices while then moving into beats mixed within the tempo so that each student can start feeling the beat with the tempo at the same time. I will never rush or push a student who is not ready to move on to the next lesson until they have mastered that lesson or if I feel as if they are ready to move on. Advanced students will learn more about styles, speed, build ups, music theory, techniques, sound, and learning new beats and songs. If students ever struggle with basics lessons (none ever have), I will make sure I will work with students to meet there needs on how to learn and move on to more lessons. I am up for anything a student wants to learn or try out during practice so I can build friendships and just be able to have a good time with the student while still being a serious drum instructor at the same time.
