About Me
Soprano Halla Bachelor of Music 2016, Cleveland Institute of Music is an experienced and versatile singer who is qualified to teach in the classical, sacred, folk, and musical theatre genres. Over the past several seasons Mrs.has been in demand as a soprano soloist for oratorios including Handel's Messiah, Bach's Magnificat D Major, Vivaldi's Gloria, and John Rutter's Gloria. In June of 2016, she was invited to perform the U.S. premiere of composer Amy Barlowe's Magnificat with Akron Baroque. For many years Mrs.was a featured soloist with the Youth Ensemble of New England and also with Rose, Thorn, and Fiddle, both throughout the United States and internationally. In 2011, while studying with Gregorio Rangel at New England Conservatory's Prep Division, she soloed with the NEC Youth Chorus in Jordan Hall. Nearly every year since 2009 Mrs.has presented solo recitals at Thayer Performing Arts Center in South Lancaster Massachusetts. Major student opera roles include Hero Beatrice et Beneadict, First Spirit Die Zauberflute, Spirit Dido and Aeneas, Oberto Alcina, and cover.
