Hi, my name is Tara and I am a Vocal Instructor and Entertainer from Las Vegas. I have been a student of music for 40 years. My musical influences include Pop, RnB artists and I also enjoy country. My teaching style can best be described as fun and energetic. In my lessons, you can expect to learn how to find your own voice! My favorite thing about teaching is m students are always introducing me to new songs that I have never heard, thus challenging my own musical path! I encourage the students to select the songs in order for them to stay interested and motivated. I also enjoy getting to see the students grow in there musical journey and the confidence they feel from my coaching. We have FUN in the lessons, there is no pressure from me whatsoever. I will be recording the students as a teaching tool so they have instant feedback and compare their own progress for themselves. I primarily teach voice, but I can also teach beginning piano and trumpet. My approach as a teacher is for students to enjoy the process of learning music. I am currently booked as an entertainer in Cape Coral Florida and perform on Fort Myers beach so I am very connected to the music scene. I embrace all ages, from 5 to 85 years old! I am a former instructor at School Of Rock in Ft.Myers and currently teach at Cape Coral School of Music as well. Ultimately I feel the best learning environment is my personal studio, where we can sing on professional microphones, listen through high quality speakers and record on high quality ProLogic tools.
