Tara is a recent graduate of VCUarts Music in Richmond, VA. She has a true passion for sharing her knowledge of music and her enthusiasm with students. While at VCU, she played in various small jazz ensembles as well as two jazz orchestras, where she held the position of lead tenor saxophonist. She has been a member of the honorary band fraternity, Kappa Kappa Psi since 2020. Although her specialty is jazz saxophone, she also welcomes beginning clarinet students. is committed to a lifetime of developing her musical skills, both for her personal growth and for her students' growth. Because of her teacher's heart, Tara looks forward to an extensive career as a music educator.
