12+ Years
Hi, my name is Connor and I have been a student of music my whole life. My musical influences are all over the map. I love everything from blues, rock, and metal to modern CCM church music, classical, jazz, and Bulgarian wedding music. I have years of teaching experience. My teaching style is that of a mentor and fellow music fan. I love to share what I know about how music works and how it can be used to tell stories, express emotion, and bring people together to impact the world. In my lessons, you can expect to explore why music is cool to you, set musical goals, and access knowledge and techniques that can help you achieve those goals. I primarily teach electric/acoustic guitar and bass, but I can also teach music theory, sight reading, chart writing, as well as basic ukulele and piano. Thanks for taking a look at my profile. Hope to meet you soon!
Connor W. has over 12+ years of music experience in the Missoula area.

I will first like to know what excites you about learning to play and what your aspirations with the instrument are. Are you a hobbyists? Hoping to be a pro musician? Are your parents making you take instrument lessens? Knowing where you're coming from and where you want to go will help me in what I bring you to learn and how I can partner with you in your musical journey. I then would like to jam with you to see where you're at on a technical level. There is no pressure in this part of the process. It should be fun! Even if you have never touch a guitar before in your life there are ways we can play music together. After that I can make some pointers and suggestions as to where we can go and get your feed back as to how you want to move forward. The rest of the lesson I will walk you through some material that I can give you based on our conversation, and start teaching you a song or two that pertains to that material if you feel ready for it. The goal of the first lesson is to meet you, learn where you are, where you want to go, and enable you to set goals and take steps to get there.
