Greetings! I'm Chase, and I've had the honor of being a drummer for the last 25 years in various settings. Being self-taught, I'm drawn to a wide range of genres. Overcoming the challenges and embracing the discipline of acquiring new skills and mastering different instruments brings me immense pride. I've been part of live groups, touring with bands like Madison County and Skyline Blue. Currently, I work as a music instructor and an independent contractor for performances. Nothing brings me more satisfaction than being thoroughly prepared to share the joy and knowledge of percussion with others.

What to expect in my Drum Lessons
Beginner - Intermediate
I initiate a dialogue with my students, encouraging them to share their goals and desired outcomes. Together, we collaboratively work towards achieving those objectives. Recognizing that each student has a unique learning style, I am always prepared to adapt to their individual needs. I firmly believe that embracing the initial discomfort of learning something new is the first step to mastering an instrument. Creating a welcoming and comfortable environment is crucial for every student to thrive.

Performing Experience:
I've experienced performing on numerous stages and touring various states with previous bands. I've been fortunate to showcase my talent at iconic venues like the Whisky a Go-Go and the Casbah. Currently, I work as an independent contractor, entertaining audiences for different organizations in professional live settings.
Experience Teaching:
I specialize in teaching beginners, focusing on equipping them with essential skills to progress and discover their individual style and sound. I advocate for a self-driven approach, steering away from the conventional "read and play" method. Once students master foundational skills, their artistic expression can naturally emerge.
