What to expect in my Guitar Lessons

Beginner - Intermediate - Advanced

their musical aspirations and preferred music path-Learn all parts of their instrument, as well as regular care and maintenance instructions-Learn the basic ways in which sounds and music are produced on their instrument. This includes strumming techniques, fretting notes, finger picking, etc.-Learn musical notes on their instrument and where they are in relation to each other on different strings-Learn how to tune an instrument-Ear training-Learn basic chord voicings and start learning their very first songs! Int where it is the student wants to go in their learning journey and evaluate the best path for them to achieve their goals-Develop a series of drills to improve on areas where the student struggles with technique-Start learning basic music theory and how to apply it to songs learned-Alternate picking-Work on learning new songs, expanding genres, and improving technique-Learn to solo!-Encourage the student to take everything they learn and write some original songs! how to analyze chord progressions and recognize commonly used musical devices such as secondary dominant, relative and parallel minor/major, and "ii-V-I's"-Learn advanced pentatonic (5 note) and heptatonic (7 note) and what chords to use them over-Practice improvisational soloing-Learn more advanced musical devices such as extended arpeggios, diminished scales, and modal interchange-Learn advanced techniques such as sweep picking, hybrid picking, tapping and economy picking


What to expect in my Bass Guitar Lessons

Beginner - Intermediate

This includes plucking techniques, fretting notes, fingerstyle playing and thumping, etc.-Learn musical notes on their instrument and where they are in relation to each other on different strings-Learn how to tune an instrument-Ear training-Learn a few basic grooves and start learning their very first songs!
