Nick has been playing guitar since he was 15 years old. Over the past 30 years, he's expanded his skills by studying other instruments such as the bass guitar and piano, as well as music theory and a variety of music styles. He gained performance experience in Phoenix, Los Angeles, and most recently Denver by playing at such venues as Hi-Dive and Lost Lake with acts such as Geographer and Flaural. Though Nick can teach many genres of music, his personal favorites are rock, pop, and progressive music which had great influence on his style of playing. Nick loves music because it's a way to express and communicate things that might be hard with just words. He loves teaching music because he believes everyone has something to share and the ability to express it through sound and music.
